Forex Term

Liquidity

How easily an asset can be bought or sold without moving its price.

Liquidity is how quickly and easily you can enter or exit a position at a stable price. Major pairs like EUR/USD are highly liquid, giving tight spreads and fast fills. Low-liquidity markets can have wider spreads and more slippage.

Example

Major pairs are highly liquid, so orders usually fill quickly at tight spreads.
