Scalping

A style of taking many tiny, very short trades.

Scalping is a fast trading style that aims for small profits from many trades held for seconds to minutes. It depends on tight spreads, fast execution, and low costs, so scalpers favour brokers built for speed. It is intense and not usually suited to beginners.

Example

A scalper might take 30 trades in an hour, aiming for just a few pips each.
