Support and Resistance

Price levels where a move tends to stall or reverse.

Support is a price level where buying tends to halt a fall; resistance is where selling tends to halt a rise. These levels form because traders remember them and act around them. They are among the most-watched tools for planning entries, exits, and stop placement.

Example

If a pair bounces off 1.1000 several times, that level is acting as support.
