A dealing desk is where a market-maker broker manages and often takes the opposite side of client orders. No-dealing-desk (NDD) brokers, by contrast, pass orders to the market. Knowing which model your broker uses helps you understand how your trades are filled and priced.
Forex Term
Dealing Desk
A broker desk that can take the other side of client trades.
Example
A no-dealing-desk broker routes trades to the market instead of filling them at its own desk.
